Let Creativity Flow

An idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the brain cell it occupied.
Arnold Glascow

Any activity becomes creative when the doer cares about doing it right, or doing it better.
John Updike

How many times have you had an idea and then just dismissed it or not done a thing about it? Or maybe you entended to do something at some point but never did? Or worse you had an idea and didn’t act on it so someone else did a profited from it and you could just kick yourself? Trust

You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you do not trust enough.
Frank Crane

The chief lesson I have learned in a long life is that the only way to make a man trustworthy is to trust him; and the surest way to make him untrustworthy is to distrust him and show your distrust.
Henry L. Stimson

There are people I know who won’t hurt me. I call them corpses.
Randy K. Milholland

When I’m trusting and being myself… everything in my life reflects this by falling into place easily, often miraculously.
Shakti Gawain

Is it harder to trust yourself or other people? Is it ok to breach someone’s trust when you believe it is in their best interest to do so? Do you feel safe or vunerable when you put your trust in someone? Are you too trusting or overly wary? Do you consider yourself trustworthy?

Begin to Heal

Have you ever been hurt and the place tries to heal a bit, and you just pull the scar off of it over and over again. ~Rosa Parks

I think we all have been hurt throughout our lives. It seems like it hurts the worse when it is someone whom we felt an alliance with. The important thing when we get hurt is how we handle it. Sometimes we can get very selfish and make it all about us while other times we keep pulling back the healing and reopening the wound.

Make a point from this day forward to watch how you handle your emotional wounds and allow them to heal. Yes, sometimes you may still end up with a scar, but that is to remind you that you went through this thing, not to reopen the wound and cause more pain.

Count the garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall. Count your life with smiles and not the tears that roll. ~Author Unknown

Saying Goodbye

Why can’t we get all the people together in the world that we really like and then just stay together? I guess that wouldn’t work. Someone would leave. Someone always leaves. Then we would have to say good-bye. I hate good-byes. I know what I need. I need more hellos.”

Snoopy (Charles M Schultz)

Do you find saying goodbye very challenging? Do you hold on to people, things and habits because it just seems too difficult to let go? If you answered yes then try this exercise -imagine your life without that person, thing or habit. Notice how your life is different. Notice the positives, the benefits of this new situation. Repeat this exercise daily until it becomes familiar to you and you feel more and more drawn to this different picture of your life. Now start to make the changes that you saw in this new vision until you get to the point where you can say goodbye. At the same time start looking for opportunities to say hello to healthy people, useful things and good habits.

Take Charge of Your Garden

“We must all wage an intense, lifelong battle against the constant downward pull. If we relax, the bugs and the weeds of negativity will move into the garden and take away everything of value.

If you spend five minutes complaining, you have just wasted five minutes. If you continue complaining, it won’t be long before they haul you out to a financial desert and there let you choke on the dust of your own regret. ”
Jim Rohn

When you listen to yourself is your verbal garden blossoming or is it full of bugs and weeds of negativity choking the life out of you? Our speech is so important. We can not only hurt or take away from others we can do the same to ourselves.

Do you find yourself needing more time? Then look at how much time you spend complaining and cut out that time and see how much more time you gain, not to mention how much better you will feel. Negative talk can cause you mental, physical, and just all around poor well being. If you want to be the best you can then you must get the bottle of “Negative-be-Gone” and remove all the negative language.
