Well I knew this was going to be a good MMM!!! Saying Good-bye - I HATE IT!! LOL!! I am sooo not a fan of it at all - and it's something that is really at the front of my life right now. My daughter is leaving pre-school and we are just about to say our last good-bye today :(

This school has been wonderful for her. The teachers are all wonderful, Madd's friends are fabulous - and sadly, only one of them will be in her Kindergarten class.

I've been emotional for the last two weeks as this transition has approached.

Maddie, on the other hand, is dealing with this really well... perhaps because she doesn't understand that she won't ever see most of these people again. Now - some of them we will see because they take dance together and such, so, I guess it's not that bad...

Anyway, what I'm trying to say here is, saying good-bye is not my favorite thing to do!

I think for me, I'm lucky in that, I attract such wonderful people in my life, and letting any of them go is always emotional for me. I love people - I love hanging out with people, I love being around people, and I adore what makes everyone unique. So, thinking about not seeing someone all the time - or never again - is really tough for me to deal with.

I wish I could have been live on the MMM - I know you guys would have really helped me with this transition! Of course, I KNOW I would have been a little teary as well :)

Can't wait to see what other comments are added :)

Saying Goodbye... Now this is right up my alley. I am a motivational speaker and my topic is embracing your mortality! The BIG goodbye!

Thank YOU so much Kathy for sharing so openly today as always. I love that you have had the courage to make this move especially as it involved some tough love with your son- I am convinced that tough love is far harder on the parent than on the child -so what a fantastic role-model you are.

Thank you Kathrine, saying goodbye and hellos is where I am right now. One of my motivations for moving accross country was to remove myself from those negative influences (& to get my son living on his own), & start fresh with a new job, friends, and surroundings.A fresh view outside my window of the trees and duck pond. I just want to thank you for sharing with us.
