Intergenerational Relationships - Good Bad or Indifferent?

Written By Roy Montero — Category: Online Social Business Networking

I just watched a CBS News video about intergenerational friendships

The New Face Of Facebook

Facebook, the social networking Web site, was created by and for college students, but now anyone can join. Daniel Sieberg takes a look at some intergenerational friendships kindled on the Web.

… And then there was this CBS News video about making friends across generational lines

Facebook Friendships

Life Coach Martha Beck speaks with Hannah Storm about making friends across generational lines via the Web.

… That I wanted to share with you because this is something that I’m involved in a lot these days.

I have several really good friends who are teens as well as 20-something while I’m 51 years old.

Hopefully a few of them will comment here about their relationship with me so we can encourage others that intergenerational relationships aren’t what most think they are.

By the way, all of my current intergenerational relationships have been fostered outside of FaceBook. They are mainly because of my verbal networking involvement in Webinars, teleseminars, Skype Rooms, voice conferencing rooms and the like.

Your thoughts and experiences are appreciated. Feel free to join me in my public public Skype Room < Click Here to Enter My Skype Room > and then immediately say hi and introduce yourself. You’ll be welcomed by me and my many wonderful and extremely friendly friends.
